Residential Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator (PVE) Installer
Why Choose a Pneumatic Elevator for Your Home?
If you have trouble getting upstairs, a pneumatic elevator is a great option to help you feel at home again. PVE currently manufactures three versions of its air-driven residential elevators, ranging from a single-passenger to a three-passenger, wheelchair-accessible home elevator. There’s something for everyone. This energy-efficient elevator option doesn’t require any pre-construction shaft, pit or machine room in your home, meaning it takes up less space.
Their simple design allows for minimal maintenance requirements, unlike traditional elevators. Most customers only need to get a replacement seal every four-to-five years or after about 15,000 rides. You don’t need to worry about safety, either. If the power does fail while a passenger is inside, the elevator cab automatically descends to the lowest level, allowing the passenger to safely exit the cab.
When you choose PVE through Breakwater Design & Build, you can save money and space without sacrificing quality or comfort.
Quick & Easy Home Elevator Installation in Maine
If you’re looking for a quick and easy home elevator installation in Maine, look no further. We service Midcoast Maine and multiple surrounding areas. In most cases, we’re able to install your new home elevator within a three-day window. All three models are self-supporting and have limited pre-construction requirements. By resting on the ground floor, it allows you the flexibility to choose where you’d like the elevator installed in your home. PVE elevators fit into tight spaces, are custom built to the height of your home, and only require a 220-volt power supply so you can get the most out of your space.
Pneumatic Elevators are Eco-Friendly & Energy Efficient
Pneumatic elevators are powered by air pressure, making them incredibly eco-friendly and energy efficient. There are no harmful oils, lubricants or gasses used during operation. A vacuum pump produces all the energy required to operate it, allowing it to move effortlessly between floors. As PVEs require minimal energy consumption, you’ll find that they have a nominal impact on your annual electrical usage.
Our PVE Options
Elevators are available in three sizes:
- Single-passenger elevator: 30 inches with 350-pound capacity
